MedPermit

How it works

The free WhatsApp consult, what you pay for, what we prepare, where we can file for you, and what stays outside our control from start to finish.

You are travelling with medication you were prescribed, and somewhere between booking the flight and packing you found out that the rules at the other end might not be the rules at home. That is the problem we work on. Here is exactly what happens, in order, and where the boundaries are.

1 · The consult is free

You message us on WhatsApp and tell us three things: where you are going, what you take, and when you fly. That conversation costs nothing and there is no form, no account and no card.

What you get out of it is a diagnosis, not a set of instructions. We will tell you whether a route exists for your situation, roughly how heavy it is, what the known traps are, and how confident we are — including the cases where the honest answer is "there is one point we would have to check". If the answer is that you do not need us, you will hear that in the free consult and we will not charge you anything.

We will not read you the route step by step for free. The gap between "this is possible" and "this is how you do it" is the thing we sell. We say that plainly rather than pretending otherwise.

2 · You choose

If more than one route exists for your case, we lay them all out with their trade-offs — how long each takes, what each demands from your doctor, what each costs in external fees, and how certain we are about each one. Then you pick. We do not pick for you, and we do not hide the option we find inconvenient.

You are also free to walk away at this point having learned something useful. That happens, and it is fine.

3 · You pay for the accompaniment

If you decide to go ahead, you pay for our time and our knowledge. Payment happens after you have approved the plan, not before, and you know the number before you pay it. See what it costs for the figure and for what sits outside it.

To be direct about what the payment is: you are buying the work, not a permit. Nobody can sell you a decision that belongs to an authority.

4 · We settle the route

Before any document is written we close the open questions on the route itself — which channel applies to your case, what the submitting body actually wants, what the current form looks like, and what the realistic calendar is. This is the step that most people skip, and it is the step that produces most of the failures we see. A perfect document sent down the wrong channel is still a failure.

5 · We prepare the documents

We build the paperwork to the format the receiving body expects, field by field. In practice this usually means a draft letter for your prescribing doctor to review and sign, the application itself where one exists, and a check of everything you already hold — prescription, labels, packaging, dates.

Two limits, stated up front. We do not write prescriptions and we do not decide diagnoses; that is your doctor's work and only your doctor's. And where a source is silent about a requirement, we record that it is silent rather than inventing an answer — see how we verify.

6 · We file where we are permitted to, otherwise you file

Some routes accept a third party acting on your behalf. On those, we submit and we manage the correspondence, so the back-and-forth lands with us and not with you three days before your flight.

Other routes only accept the traveller. On those, you get the complete file ready to send, with the channel, the address, the wording and the order spelled out. We tell you which of the two you are in before you pay, not after.

7 · We stay with you to the end

Accompaniment does not stop at submission. We follow the file, we chase where chasing is possible, we flag when the calendar starts getting tight, and we tell you what your options are if it does. You reach us on the same WhatsApp thread throughout.

The timeframe is reasonable and defined. It is not strict, because parts of it are not ours: an authority takes the time it takes, a post office takes the time it takes, a doctor answers when they answer. We say so at the start so that it is never a surprise later.

What we do not do

We do not promise you will receive a permit, and we do not promise a date. Any service that does is either guessing or lying. We do not give legal advice or medical advice. And we do not tell you something is a problem when it is not — we have no reason to, because the negative answer is free.

Start with the free consult

Tell us the destination, the medication and the travel date. You will get a straight read on whether there is a route, how heavy it is, and what we do and do not know — before any money is discussed.
